Rob has nearly 25 years of HR and Recruiting experience in mid-sized fast-growing companies, large global corporations, and small privately held businesses. Prior to co-founding Recruiting Pals and HR Pals, Rob was a Senior HR Executive for a rapid-growth solar energy business where he built a recruiting function that filled over 100 positions per month. Earlier in his career, Rob spent several years as the VP of HR at MedAssets, a 3,000 employee healthcare services and technology company, where he oversaw 600% growth in the Company’s employee population and helped guide the Company through several acquisitions and its IPO process. His additional experience includes five years as an HR leader at EarthLink during the dot.com era, Fortune 500 experience at Toyota and AECOM Technology, and head of HR for a 150 employee privately-held software company. Rob holds a Bachelors in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a Masters from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He has also been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 2001.
Jamie’s career started as an entrepreneur and small business owner over 20 years ago, when she took her savings and bought a struggling restaurant. After turning the business around, Jamie went on to run a doughnut shop, a flower shop and a video store. After getting her Bachelor’s degree in HR from Cal Poly University, Jamie embarked on her career in HR starting out at an HR outsourcing firm that catered to small businesses and professional services firms. Following that assignment, Jamie worked as an HR Generalist in manufacturing before moving to Vivendi Universal as the HR Manager for the Games Division. Following Vivendi, Jamie was recruited to Public Storage (an $8 billion real estate management company) as their Employee Relations Manager before being promoted to Compliance Officer. From there, Jamie moved on to key HR leadership roles at Scripps Networks (Parent Company of The Food Network) and TBA Global, a 350 employee marketing firm. Jamie also spent time at AECOM Technology and Verengo Solar in key leadership roles. Jamie is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Adriana joined the Company as Recruiting Manager and has expanded her role in HR. In her current role as HR Manager, Adriana is responsible for the entire employee life-cycle for our clients, including onboarding, HR compliance, employee relations, benefits, and performance management. Prior to HR Pals, Adriana managed a highly successful 10-person recruiting team in the renewable energy industry. Adriana holds a Bachelors in Communications from Cal State University, Long Beach and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Ashley brings 15+ years of HR Management experience to the Pals team. In her current role as HR Manager, she manages the HR function for multiple clients including compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, leaves of absence, and workers’ comp. Prior to HR Pals, Ashley worked in the retail, office technology, distribution, and insurance industries where she led HR functions for multiple organizations. Ashley holds a Bachelors in Psychology and MBA from Brandman University and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Matt combines his extensive sales, account management, marketing and management experience to help tell the HR Pals/Recruiting Pals story and develop new business relationships with clients who need outsourced HR services. From consumer products to SaaS, children’s toys to construction products, and contract furniture to packaging material, Matt has broad industry understanding and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Matt received his undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Connecticut and his MBA at Babson College.
Courtney is an experienced Senior Payroll and HR Leader, with a career that includes several years in the payroll industry. In her role, Courtney wears multiple hats as both the Payroll and HR Director for many of our clients and also as our Payroll Practice Leader. Courtney also has a multi-faceted HR skillset including employee onboarding, leave of absences, HR compliance, employee relations, team building, and performance management. Courtney holds the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation.
Amanda is an experienced recruiting and HR professional who manages leadership, finance, HR, skilled trades, and technology searches for the Company. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Amanda worked for several years as a Recruiter and HR Manager in the staffing industry. Most recently she worked as a full life cycle Recruiter at Strategic Solutions where she sourced, interviewed, and placed candidates with clients across a variety of industries. Amanda holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Stevens Institute of Business & Arts.
With a passion for serving her clients, Maddie brings five years of Human Resources and payroll experience to HR Pals. In her current role, Maddie handles a wide variety of responsibilities for our clients including new hire onboarding, payroll, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and HR administration. Prior to HR Pals, she worked in HR and administration roles in the consumer products, education, and recreation industries. Maddie holds a Bachelors in Corporate Communications from Baylor University.
Dera joined Recruiting Pals in 2015 as a recruiter. She was promoted to Recruiting Lead in July 2017 and again to Recruiting Manager in April 2019. In this role, Dera is responsible for ongoing development of the Company’s candidate sourcing methodologies and ensuring that we’re consistently delivering results for our clients. Prior to joining Recruiting Pals, Dera worked in software Quality Assurance and systems training, developing a strong technology background. Dera holds a B.S. in Information Systems and Business from San Diego State University.
Tiffany brings more than ten years of Recruiting and Business Development experience to Recruiting Pals. In her role, Tiffany identifies new clients, understands their hiring needs, and successfully fills their open positions. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Tiffany worked as a Senior Recruiter in the Software industry, filling a variety of technical positions around the world. Additionally, Tiffany has several years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical and technology industries. Tiffany holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona.
Erika is a bilingual HR Manager with 7+ years of well-rounded HR experience. In her current capacity, she is responsible for all aspects of HR including employee relations, enforcement of employment policies and practices, compliance, benefits administration, workers’ comp, and training. Prior to HR Pals, Erika worked in the residential solar industry and was promoted numerous times during her tenure. Erika holds a Bachelors in Political Science from UC Irvine and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Patricia joined the Company in 2018 and plays a dual role as Recruiter and HR Generalist. Patricia brings a diverse background to Pals, including several years as a news editor for network TV, a language instructor, and a sales consultant. These experiences have helped her develop strong client management, communication, and analytical skills which serve her well in both HR and recruiting. Patricia holds a BA in Communications from UMass Amherst, and a Masters in Media Studies from the University of Sussex in the UK.
As the Company’s Senior HR Consultant Melanie is responsible for cultivating healthy client relationships, supporting our clients with employee and labor relations management, and developing compliant policies and procedures. Prior to HR Pals, Melanie spent 25+ years as an HR Consultant and an HR leader in the healthcare and technology industries. Melanie holds a Bachelors in Business and HR from Woodbury University and a Masters in HR from Claremont Graduate University.
Christian joined us in 2019 as a Recruiter specializing in finding great talent across customer service, skilled trades, healthcare, and sales. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Christian worked for several years in Customer Service and Retail, most recently as a Shift Manager in the Food and Beverage industry where he developed exceptional skills in recruiting, assessing, and hiring good fit candidates for his team. Christian holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University.
